Merrell Jungle Moc Slip on Style Shoes

These were introduced to me by a family member stating they were the most comfortable shoes they ever owned. They just recently got a second pair after 10 years of wearing the same pair. I broke down and got a pair over black friday where the price was really good. So far i love them. Very easy to get on and off and i do believe they are water proof. Actually i think they make a seperate water proof version but you can spray these down with some waterproofing and likely save some money that way. I compared these to the same type / model shoe sold at Duluth Trading Company and these Merrells are way better. They fit better and seem of better quality materials. With these you will even have the old timers at the nursing home beat. These are better than velcro. Tying your shoes is for suckers. Harbor Freight Pittsburgh Composite Digital Calipers

Most people cant stand Harbor Freight. Truth is, it's the new Sears Craftsman. The quality is really damn good on a lot of things and the return policy is fantastic if you have issues. Some of their stuff is still kind of cheap junk but most is very good. These digital calipers are cheap, accurate and very very handy down to the tenth of a mm. I have several pairs and use them constantly. They come in blue and black. I have both. Verdict: Highly Recommended. Not dumb garbage. Columbia Fairbanks Winter Boots

I have a ~35 year old pair of Sorel boots but good god they are heavy for walking. I recommend them as they have lasted this long and still look almost new and are about as warm as you can get. You cant beat that value. I wanted something that wasnt garbage but that was light enough to walk in meaning miles. Like shoes but for snow. You know......boots. I had looked at the Columbia Bugaboots for about a year but they just didnt seem to be what i wanted. Too bulky and i have heard bad things about them binding at the toes causing sore feet. Not sure if that is true or not. I then started researching hiking boots and holy balls are those expensive nonsense. I wasnt about to put a kayak on my car and drive to REI to spend $879 on a pair of stupid shoes. Then these showed up. I threw them on at the store and instantly bought them after driving home and buying them on the internet for cheaper of course. Black Friday sales are your friend here. These Columbia Fairbanks are super li...

CRKT Squid Folding Pocket Knife

I really like this knife. It is very reasonable and very well made. The picture makes it look huge but it isnt. Its just the right size. Very good unit for the money. I am not a knife guy really or one of those prepper psychos that get all nuts about knives an guns. I couldnt care less. This is a great item and should be owned. You wont realize how much you need it until you have it. It has a simple flick open action and is easy to close. It has a nicely made pocket clip on it as well. Looks to be about $20 but i want to say i got it for around $14 when i ordered mine. Verdict: Recommended. Not dumb garbage Link:   https://www.amazon.com/CRKT-Squid-Folding-Pocket-Knife/dp/B00TFY39EQ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=squid+knife&qid=1577667532&sr=8-1

Duluth Trading Company - Firehose Flex Pants

Duluth Firehose Flex is the most comfortable pants i own. They make several styles from a cargo style to a more modest style that could be worn to the office. They are a bit pricey compared to others but frequently go on sale and they last a very very long time.  Cons: In my experience the darker colors fade even in cold water washing but they are still very durable . I have several pairs of several styles and wear them almost daily.  The ads for Duluth Trading can get annoying and a bit over the top but they do have  very good product.  The warranty used to be lifetime on everything no matter what but this has recently changes to 1 year and at the retailer discretion meaning if you ran the pants through the skill saw a couple times and shredded them on purpose they probably wont replace them. Still, they are reasonable. They dont have my size and they dont carry all sizes. This forces me to have them altered which drives the price up. Probably not...

KASA Blutooth Smart Outlet Switches

These work great. They are Blutooth and connect to your smart phone. They can be controlled from anywhere via the app and the app has a great scheduling feature. They work well for lamps or anything a remote controlled outlet would be handy for. I have used mine for turning on lights at night or to control my stereo so that when i walk into the shop the lights and music are already on. I have used it to control fans etc . Great item Verdict: Recommended. Not dumb garbage LINK:   https://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-HS103P2-Required-Google-Assistant/dp/B07B8W2KHZ/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=kasa+smart+plug&qid=1577663555&sr=8-4

Harbor Freight Drummond 110v Transfer Pump

This little pump is the best investment i have made in a long time. Harbor Freight sells these little 120v transfer pumps for about $65. They can be had for less than $50 using a coupon. I think tehy claim they can move 300+ GPH. They claim they are not for dirty water but seems to do just fine with leaves and grass clippings etc.. The come complete with a short length of standard garden hose for the inlet side and also has a nice surface fitting to suck water off the surface of something like a concrete floor. Very handy and in my experience will suck water down to ~1/8 deep. I picked mine up on a whim from HF more than a year ago as i was having some flooding issues in the yard in the spring. The low spots filled with water and with the ground still frozen there was no place for the water to go. Fearing it would continue to fill up and i would have issues with water getting into the house i grabbed this. I have used mine nonstop for hours and hours. I have run it in freezing c...
