Generic Bike Light Mount

 Bike light mount.

These go by several different names and run about $2 - $5 depending where you get them.

I got some of these several years back from China ....probably Aliexpress or whatever.

These work great for mounting small LED Flashlights which i have been running for years as well. I upgraded to a rechargeable ANKER Bolder light. its bigger and heavier than my others but its really nice and a lot brighter. I found that this mount works well. I had to make a small shim out of a milk carton and found that you must run the mount backwards and under the bars to get the center gravity of the light so that it wont tilt down on you as you hit bumps. IT works really well and that setup is still cheaper than any bike specific light. Also...the flahlight can still be used as a flashlight.

Harbor Freight Drummond 110v Transfer Pump

This little pump is the best investment i have made in a long time. Harbor Freight sells these little 120v transfer pumps for about $65. They can be had for less than $50 using a coupon. I think tehy claim they can move 300+ GPH. They claim they are not for dirty water but seems to do just fine with leaves and grass clippings etc.. The come complete with a short length of standard garden hose for the inlet side and also has a nice surface fitting to suck water off the surface of something like a concrete floor. Very handy and in my experience will suck water down to ~1/8 deep. I picked mine up on a whim from HF more than a year ago as i was having some flooding issues in the yard in the spring. The low spots filled with water and with the ground still frozen there was no place for the water to go. Fearing it would continue to fill up and i would have issues with water getting into the house i grabbed this. I have used mine nonstop for hours and hours. I have run it in freezing c...

Best wash bucket / cleaning unit

I have been using normal 5 gallon pails for washing cars.....and for washing parts its usually a cheap small clear tote which usually fail or crack about every year and need to be replaced. Mostly from the degreaser etc...it just eats them away and makes them brittle. I stumbled on this. It just said tote and was up high. I grabbed it down and it has a REALLY beefy handle.......and grit grate for parts washing which is great. It will hold enough liquid to wash a car or two and its heavy black plastic so out in the sun it will keep your cleaners warm. Its also pretty big and will fit any parts id be cleaning. Happy to have found this and i will probably pick up another. I think they stack. For less than $10 you cant go wrong. Looks to be an unreal deal. I wont be able to really put it to the test until spring but it looks like a winner.    Home Depot Link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-16-in-Black-Plastic-Multi-Use-Tote-with-Grit-Screen-THD2020-003/315003283
